Over the past few weeks the nursery children have been settling in as one big class and learning how to begin to get along with each other, share toys, try lots of new experiences and make friends.
They have enjoyed cutting with the scissors & are looking forward to making models with some junk & tape when they have fully mastered the scissors. They have been so good at remembering how to hold the scissors when walking to the craft table.
They have enjoyed exploring the outdoor space & building with lots of different materials. Everyone got their photo taken to make a 'mini me' for the block corner.
This week they enjoyed their first camp fire in the playground & had such fun listening to the oil sizzling & the corn popping in the pan. They were all very good at remembering how to move safely around the fire circle.
