'Scarecrow made from Recycled Materials'
The Eco Team have been raising awareness of the importance of 'recycling materials' and the whole school community have been inspired! We gathered in lots of recycled materials including ; clothes, straw, old boots, feathers, old pieces of wooden furnitures, CD's, plastic flowers and masks. These have been used to make a 'Scarecrow' called 'The Windmill Hatter'. It has taken up residence in our school garden hoping to scare away the pests! Thank you to the Eco team for raising awareness of how recycled materials can be put to use and also to Mrs. Hazleton who helped children create the scarecrow. This is just one of numerous Art projects that the children have been involved in creating using recycled materials. It's so much fun coming up with ideas of what to create using recycled materials and we are always open to new suggestions. Send them in to Mrs. Niblock or any member of our Eco Team.
