Painting Daffodils.

Finally Spring seems to have arrived and the daffodils are out in front of the nursery - each year we bring some inside and encourage the children to try and do a painting of them. This year one child inspired all the others without any need for an explanation of how to approach the activity - she painted them at the easel when she noticed them in the vase on the counter. The next day all the children had a go at creating their own painting of these lovely cheery yellow flowers. They all took their time and it is amazing how different they are all. They look wonderful all hanging up together in the classroom.
