P6 visit the Navan Centre Armagh to study Vikings.

I was delighted to take P6 on their first trip of the year to the Navan centre in Armagh. It complemented and concluded our topic of the Vikings this term.

We had a lovely time and the children were so well behaved and well mannered. We learnt lots about the Vikings and even got to meet 2!

In the scriptorium children got to write their names using runes and even had the opportunity to use an ink well and a feather to copy a passage from the Book of Armagh.
