Nursery works with artist Grainne Kielty.

This year nursery, P1, P2 & P3 got a bursary from the Play Resource Centre in Belfast to help towards funding for each class to work with artist Grainne Kielty. Today she visited the nursery to make a caterpillar tree - it turned out to be a tropical one! The nursery had last made one 8 years ago and it is still standing. 

The children had so much fun painting to make leaves, twisting paper for branches and wrapping masking tape around the 'trunk'. After lunch they painted it with lots of lovely colours and Mrs Corr added some pink glitter. At home time all the parents were admiring it - now we have to find a special space for it.
