For the past 4 weeks the nursery class have been taking part in some Play to Learn More sessions with Miss Somerville and as Mrs Corr & Mrs Somerville both took part in this training earlier this year they have been able to work alongside Miss Somerville.
Play to Learn More is an Icelandic method of teaching core skills to children whilst encouraging them to move and be more active.
The children have been reinforcing their colours, learning some new shapes, counting & using the big dice and having lots of fun moving across the benches or mats.
We will continue to use lots of the skills the children have learned over the past 4 weeks and to have more fun moving around the classroom and playground.
