Nursery Celebrates Outdoor Classroom Day.
The nursery class were so glad to see lots of sunshine for their outdoor classroom day - of course we know there is no such things as bad weather but sunshine is always welcome! They enjoyed playing with some water outside before everyone got ready to go up to Bear Woods for a visit. They had their snack up there before exploring the area and seeing how many leaves were on all the trees now - the Gelder Roses have lots of lovely white flowers but sadly we also found some nettles, ouch!
After some ice pops to help cool down, the children went off into Big Bear Woods and were so delighted to see some little birds going in & out of the wonderful new bird house Mr Campbell the caretaker made with P.4. They just made it back down to nursery before the rain started and everyone was brilliant at getting out of their rain trousers and boots all by themselves.
