In Sweden at last!
After Storm Emma caused chaos at Dublin airport and our flight was cancelled on Friday, we finally managed to fly to Stockholm on Monday afternoon and made it to Norrköping late on Monday evening. There is lots of snow here but no such thing as snow days - people are out on their bicycles in it!
On Monday we visited 3 preschools - 2 right in the city with their playgrounds surrounded by apartments and then 1 right out in the countryside.
We got to play with the children out in the snow & spend time in the preschools talking with the staff & children, many of the children were using all their English phrases on us & I (Mrs Corr) tried my limited Swedish - thanks, stop, no etc.!
The children were all very friendly and in Äpellundens preschool (the rural one) the children had put water into milk carton and left them outside over night & were enjoying playing with the frozen remains - like an icy Swedish Bottle Baby.
So far we both really enjoying all that we are doing and seeing & eTwinning Ted is too.
