Graphing the results of our friction experiment.
11th Feb 2016
We drew bar charts to show our results. It was easier to work out from our bar charts what really happened in our experiment rather than trying to process a big table with lots of measurements. We found out that the car travelled a longer distance when we raised the height of the slope and when we used a smooth surface ( such as smooth plastic) on our slope. The car travelled longer distances when then slope was smooth because the force of friction was less than when the slope surface was a rougher surface such as carpet.
