First visit to Bear Woods.

To celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day in Ireland and the UK the nursery children spent all morning outside, they practiced how to sit around the fire circle and how to move safely from seat to seat. Next week they will have their first fire and cook some popcorn. 

Then they all got on their wellies and headed up the hill to visit Bear Woods, they were delighted to fins a mud kitchen up there and some of them made sticky leaf pictures to take home. Everyone listened really carefully about stopping at the red line and letting a grown up open gates. They are looking forward to visiting Bear Woods again and having some snack up there too.
