Lat week Mrs Corr, Mrs Donnelly and Mrs Tate travelled to Zagreb for the 4th team meeting of our Erasmus Plus KA2 Project 'European New Generation'. This 2 year project involves the nursery and foundation stage classes and is all about sharing maths, science and art ideas with each other. There are 6 partners in the project - U.K, Turkey, Finland, Croatia, Greece and Denmark.
During this meeting the staff had the opportunity to spend time with the classes in the Iskrica kindergartens in Zagreb and to share some maths games ideas with the children and other partners. We also decorated some Croatian traditional ornaments, did some silk painting and visited an outdoor living history museum. During the visit it was St. Nicholas' Day & we got to see how the kindergartens celebrate this special day for children.
