Egg Hunt in Bear Woods.
Each year the nursery children have a sponsored Easter egg hunt to raise funds, this year it is to buy some new outdoor play equipment. They had it up in Bear Woods this week - when they arrived Mrs Corr & Mrs Somerville noticed an envelope hanging on a tree and the children discovered it was from the Easter Bunny. It said that there were 10 paper eggs hidden around Bear Woods & the children had to collect them all before they would find out where the chocolate eggs were. They found 9 but searched & searched & couldn't find the last one. Someone suggested it might be in Big Bear Woods, so Mrs Corr stood up to go look & they found the last egg stuck to her bottom!! After they had all 10 eggs they had a message that said the chocolate eggs were hidden inside a purple bag - the bunny had sneaked them into Mrs Somerville's rucksack! The children all had several chocolate eggs and then had a lovely time rolling some hard boiled eggs down the slopes - a big thanks to William for all the hard boiled eggs.
Thanks to all those families who supported the egg hunt, so far we have raised £155.15.
