Creative Literacy Workshop in P7 with famous author Declan Carville (AmmA)

P7 took part in the AmmA Creative Literacy workshop, with Declan Carville. This workshop used author Declan Carville’s published books to address themes of 'transition' with the P7 students, in particular 'Nelly Fandango'. Declan talked us through the aspects of creating your own story and developing the plot and characters etc. They were then able to draw their own main character and change it into an animation using the iPads. We as a class thoroughly enjoyed this engaging and imaginative workshop.
