Creating some new artwork!
The nursery class enjoyed using some fabric markers on cloth today to make a new piece of artwork for the classroom. Everyone who wanted to have a go took part - can you see some of the things they drew? There are cookies & the cookie monster, caterpillars, ladybirds, snakes, beanstalks, toilets & imaginary Fred, flowers, butterflies and even our 5 caterpillars who are now in their chrysalises.
The material is recycled from the Play Resource & the frame was an old one, Mrs Somerville didn't need anymore, so the class were doing their bit towards being eco friendly.
Once the canvas was put back in the frame & hung up everyone was very excited to see the new picture. It will certainly brighten up the nursery. Soon all the children will get the chance to draw on a square of fabric to take home & keep forever - who knows some parents/carers might even frame them.
