All one big class now.

After settling in for the past 4 weeks in 2 smaller groups of 14 & 13, the nursery class have joined together to become one big class of 27 children. This year we have the 3 main staff, Kierna the class teacher & Beverley & Enda the nursery assistants (they job share) & as we have children in the class with additional needs we also have Tanya & Veronica working for part of the day. 
The children took to the bigger group so well & soon made new friends. Their day also lengthened to 3 hours & although they did find the extra hour long at first, again they soon adjusted. On Wednesday most children will be staying for the full day & starting to have dinner in nursery. 

As you can see they have a lot of fun this week embracing the wet weather & exploring the classroom.
