A nursery camp fire at night - the big bedtime read.

As part of our Getting Ready to Learn, Big bedtime read programme, the nursery children (and their parents) were very excited to come back into nursery after school and in the dark to have a campfire, hear a story & read some books with their parents. Despite the rain, the campfire went ahead under the canopy roof. The children had some sausages, cookies, scones, s'mores and hot chocolate. A big thanks to all those parents who were able to attend and everyone agreed it was a great way to spend an hour chatting to friends.

All the staff thought it was so much fun, they plan to have another one before the end of the school year. A big thanks to Jill & Brian for the s'mores ingredients.
